Job Description: QA Tester (3-5 Years of Experience)

Position: QA Tester

Responsibilities:

1. Test Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, and other relevant testing frameworks.
2. Test Planning & Strategy: Collaborate with product owners, developers, and QA teams to define test strategies and ensure test coverage for both functional and non-functional requirements.
3. Continuous Integration (CI): Integrate test automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines to ensure tests are executed continuously and feedback is provided to the development team in a timely manner.
4. Manual Testing Support: Assist in manual testing of complex features and scenarios, especially when automation is not feasible.
5. Bug Reporting & Tracking: Identify, document, and track software defects in defect management tools such as JIRA. Work closely with developers to ensure timely bug resolution.
6. Test Environment Management: Set up and maintain test environments for automated testing, including working with different databases, servers, and software configurations.

Requirements

• Experience: 3 to 5 years as a Senior QA Automation Tester or similar role.

Skills:

1. Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, or other automation tools.
2. Proficiency in Java, Python, or other relevant scripting languages.
3. Hands-on experience in integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
4. Knowledge of testing strategies, including functional, regression, performance, and load testing.
5. Strong understanding of API Testing (using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI).
6. Experience with SQL for database verification and data manipulation.
7. Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

Soft Skills:

1. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
2. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
3. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
