Role Summary
The Lead QA Engineer will own end-to-end quality assurance across the Synth product portfolio. This role combines strategic QA leadership with hands-on execution in automation, manual, load, smoke and end-to-end testing. The Lead QA will build and manage a high-performing QA team, define testing frameworks, and ensure release reliability across all modules.
Key Responsibilities
• Own QA strategy across all Synth products and releases
• Lead and manage QA team including planning, mentoring and performance tracking
• Define and enforce QA standards, processes and testing best practices
• Design and execute automation frameworks for web, mobile and APIs
• Oversee manual, automation, regression, smoke and end-to-end testing
• Plan and execute load, performance and stress testing
• Ensure release readiness through structured test cycles
• Collaborate with product, development and DevOps teams
• Drive defect tracking, root cause analysis and prevention
• Establish CI/CD quality gates and automated pipelines
• Maintain QA documentation and test reporting dashboards
• Improve release velocity without compromising quality
• Own UAT coordination and production validation testing
Required Skills
• Strong experience in QA leadership and team management
• Expertise in automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or similar)
• API testing experience (Postman, RestAssured or equivalent)
• Load testing knowledge (JMeter, Gatling or similar tools)
• Experience in CI/CD QA integration
• Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile processes
• Strong debugging and analytical skills
• Experience in test strategy planning and execution
• Familiarity with large and cloud-based systems
• Excellent communication and cross-team coordination
Preferred Skills
• Experience testing ERP or enterprise platforms
